Sometimes we just need to leave our men at home and enjoy time with our girls (and men just need to have guy time – no shame). Whether you want to get dressed up and spend a night out on the town or be in your PJ’s and have a cozy night in with a box of pizza, it’s up to you – it’s your night with your girls, however y’all like to bond with each other! Looking for ideas? Here’s a list of things I love to do with my girls! A lot of these activities can either be done out or at home.

And if you’re still brainstorming for little gift/Valentine ideas for your gal pals, be sure to check out my Valentine’s Day 2018 Gift Guides!

PAINTING + WINE

I’m not the best artist, but I love painting! And when you add wine to the mix? I’m so. Down. I feel like these events have become so popular and just have the potential for so much fun. Easy enough to do at home and have everyone bring their own canvas (and wine… or whatever you feel like drinking!) Here are links to Painting with a Twist + Pinot’s Palette in the Norman/OKC area and the events they have going on!

SUCCULENTS

Crafts + planting at the same time! It’s so easy to get little terracotta pots for everyone to design their own succulent planter. Or you could even make mini- or full-sized terrariums if you prefer. I looked for some inspo on Pinterest and posted them above (-: If you want to try going out, visit The Plant Shoppe in Oklahoma City! I have yet to go, but I hear it’s a lot of fun and such a unique place – it’s definitely on my OKC to do list!

MANICURES + PEDICURES

So typical, but come on – who doesn’t love to feel pampered? And life is just so much better with a good set of nails, am I right, ladies? Again, easily go out and have them done professionally or stay in for a DIY spa night in the comfort of your own home. Here are lists of great products to pamper yourself with:

DIY BOUQUETS

I love flowers. Sure, they might not have the longest life span but I just love the vibrancy + life they can bring to a room. Stock up on a variety of flowers – whether it be from a local grocery store with a good selection or even a florist – find some vases, and put together your own arrangements!

BRUNCH

Because who doesn’t love brunch??? Or you could even do breakfast for dinner. The opportunities are endless. Have every one bring a dish to share (and don’t forget the mimosas!) and enjoy!

Want to go out? Here are some brunch places to try in the Norman/OKC area if you don’t know were to go (or want to find a new place to go!)

  • Fancy That (Norman, OK)
  • syrup. (Norman, OK)

MOVIE NIGHT
